When young people move to adult services, it is a huge step for them, as well as for their parents/carers. Our experienced staff teams can provide help and advice, and signpost to our existing services.
We have been supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs for over 26 years. Our aim is to support young people, families and carers to find the right support package that meets their needs and aspirations. Whatever support is needed, we can help make the transition a more positive one.
Remember that it should be a very exciting time when a young person decides to take those steps towards independence and experience new opportunities. They may want to live independently, learn new skills, make new friends or find a job.
We also understand that it can be a very stressful and difficult time for young people and their parents/carers. Parents/carers may have concerns about them taking this next step. You may feel frustrated about the lack of information given to you. Or you may not know what services are out there.
Call us on 0800 028 28 15 to speak with our team and find out how we can support you.
