When young people move to adult services, it is a huge step for them, as well as for their parents/carers. Our experienced staff teams can provide help and advice, and signpost to our existing services.
Remember that it should be a very exciting time when a young person decides to take those steps towards independence and experience new opportunities. They may want to live independently, learn new skills, make new friends or find a job.
We also understand that it can be a very stressful and difficult time for young people and their parents/carers. Parents/carers may have concerns about them taking this next step. You may feel frustrated about the lack of information given to you. Or you may not know what services are out there.
This transition service supports 5 young adults aged 18-24. The Aim is to prepare people to move into adult services, when they are confident and ready to do so. This may be around 2-3 years, but will depend on them.
This 5-bedroom property has communal areas, including a large lounge, dining room, kitchen and a garden. Bedrooms are located on the first floor.
