Osborne House gets Pearly Blessing

On Tuesday 10th May the Pearly Kings and Queens from Peckham visited Osborne House to give the new development their 'pearly blessing'.

Osborne House, in Hastings, is part of a major re-provision programme of NHS owned properties from London Borough of Sutton. The new development will replace the older style 'care home' with 10 new self-contained flats; giving greater control and independence to its tenants with learning disabilities.

Violet, sister of the Pearly King, will be moving into her new flat in September 2011. Violet's brother, who helped to lay the foundation stone, is pleased that Violet will be moving into the new development.
