On 21st April, the Mayor of Bromley visited Lancaster House - a service for adults with learning disabilities. Impressed with the level of independence the tenants now have, the Mayor was pleased to see people with learning disabilities living in their own flats.
Heather kindly showed the Mayor her new flat and garden. After living in a shared house for so many years, Heather enjoys having her own place. As this is the first time that Heather has lived by herself, staff have noticed a great improvement in Heather's independence. mcch supports Heather to access activities in the community, to see her family and to lead an independent life.
