It's a new year, so why not take on a new challenge? If you’ve got a head for heights (or haven’t but would like to have one) then we've got the challenge for you...
Registration is now open for the Kent Messenger Charity Team’s abseil, a 200ft challenge down Miller House in Maidstone on Sunday 25th March. It’s suitable for everyone over 18, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced abseiler. The day is run by a professional abseiling company, who will give you a full briefing before you start. You can choose a time slot for your abseil – we already have people registered between 10 and 11 am.
It costs just £10 to take part, and you need to raise at least £75 in sponsorship. The money you raise will be split, with 70% donated to mcch, and 30% to the Kent Messenger Charity Team for their road safety work with local schools and to help cover the costs of the event.
Registering is easy:
- Go to the KM Charity Team website (www.kmcharityteam.co.uk)
- Click on Shop
- Select Maidstone abseil and add it to your cart, selecting mcch from the drop down menu to choose us as the charity you want to support
- Choose your time slot.
You’ll then get an email from the KM Charity Team with further details about the day, a sponsorship form, and a link to set up an online fundraising page. For more information, contact the KM Charity Team.
